Fully vaccinated travelers from a large number of countries both inside and outside the EU, including Norway, can now visit Cyprus without testing and quarantine.
The exemption from the entry restrictions applies to people who have received all the necessary doses of an EU-approved vaccine or the Russian Sputnik V vaccine, the country’s tourism ministry stated.
Those who have received the Janssen vaccine must wait 14 days before they can travel to Cyprus; for the other vaccines, people will be able to enter the country on the same day they receive the last vaccine dose.
Travelers must upload documentation proving that they have been vaccinated when they register before entry.
However, while vaccinated Norwegians are released from quarantine duty in Cyprus, there is no quarantine exemption for them when they return home.
