In his 42nd international match, 27-year-old Johansen scored his fourth and fifth national team goals, but the first two under the captain Lars Lagerbäck, who gave the Swede a perfect opening to the national league.

Stefan Johansen had a lot of luck and took good time when he was substituted 72 minutes into the game.
Norway met Cyprus for the 10th time and won its 10th game against them. Not against any other country has Norway achieved such perfect statistics for so many matches. It was also Norway’s fifth win for the year in their fifth match. Just twice before, in 1995 and 2004, Norway has started a national team so well. Those times, there was also a sixth win,but not a seventh.

Lagerbäck’s men could be at the start of a historic autumn season, and in October the fans should know where this is going.
