Denmark will donate 500,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine to Ukraine. In total, Denmark will donate three million doses in 2021.

Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod says it is gratifying to be able to help Ukraine at a time when they are in great need of vaccines.

Ukraine lags far behind other European countries in vaccinating its population.

Denmark will donate at least three million doses by the end of 2021. Several other countries are also eligible to receive corona vaccines, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs states.
