After several traffic accidents, the police in Trøndelag warn of slippery roads in several places in the county.
At 7:20 AM, the emergency services responded to a traffic accident on the E6 in Steinkjer. The road was closed in a southerly direction for a while. The driver was not seriously injured.
An ATV drove off the road in Rørvik in Nærøysund Municipality at approximately 9:30 AM. The driver was examined by health personnel on-site.
“We received several reports of slippery roads,” traffic operator Anita Berglund at Vegtrafikksentralen told the newspaper Adresseavisen.
At 8 o’clock on Sunday morning, the police reported four reports of wildlife being hit on roads, in the period between 6:36 and 8:04 AM, between Drivdalen in the south and Kolvereid in the north.
“We want to remind drivers of the danger of wildlife on roads in the morning,” the police wrote.
