Eight new coronavirus cases have been registered in Bodø Municipality since Friday night, Stian Wik Rasmussen says.
Six of the infected people are close contacts who were already in quarantine.
“The last two have a currently unknown route of infection, but infection tracking is ongoing,” Rasmussen added.
Bodø Municipality has introduced strict measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
From the night to Saturday, among other things, alcohol serving has been banned, and gyms have been closed.
Sports halls, swimming pools, water parks, spa facilities, bingo halls, playgrounds, bowling alleys, and the like are also closed.
