The omicron coronavirus variant outbreak at a Christmas dinner party in Oslo attracted a lot of attention in the international media.

The British newspapers Evening Standard and Sky News write that the health authorities in Norway fear that a lot of people are infected with the omicron variant due to a Christmas dinner party in Oslo where the new variant has been discovered. Independent writes that infection tracking is in full swing in Norway’s capital.

American newspapers such as The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times also covered the outbreak in Oslo. The newspapers say that the search for possibly infected people is in full swing.

A total of 60 people who were at the Christmas dinner party at the nightclub Louise at Aker Brygge in Oslo have tested positive for corona.
