Siv Jensen was re-elected as leader of the Progress Party on Sunday.

Jensen agreed to two more years as leader of the party and was without challengers at the party’s national convention at Gardermoen. The party also celebrated her ten years as party leader.
In her short election speech she made clear that she is ready to lead the party through an election which she predicts will be tough and demanding.
– We need all the energy we can get in terms of the work that lies ahead, she said, and stated that the party’s main task will be to preserve and further develop the welfare society and ensure an economic policy that generates growth.
