The hotel strike is underway
At 8 o’clock Sunday morning, nearly 3,500 hotel and restaurant employees went on strike. This means that many hotels will have to close.
3351 members in 356 NHO enterprises in Rogaland, Hordaland, Nordland, Oslo, Sør-Trøndelag and Vestfold have gone on strike. The same applies to 99 members in seven companies in Buskerud, Oslo, Sør-Trøndelag and Hordaland. Both hotels, cafeterias and restaurants are affected.
Fellesforbundet( the Joint Federation, a division of the trade union LO) is furious over not being allowed local negotitations.
