King Harald is still not back from sick leave, and he will hand over presiding over an audience at the castle on Thursday to Crown Prince Haakon.

The news was confirmed by Norway’s Royal House to newspaper Dagbladet.

The king was admitted to Rikshospitalet on September 25 due to heavy breathing.

On Sunday, his sick leave was extended.

The castle then informed news bureau NTB that they had no information on how long the sick leave would be extended, nor whether the king’s health situation had deteriorated.

However, the royal program still states that the king will hold a cabinet meeting on Friday.
