A total of 51 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus after a wedding at Strømmen in early July. The Municipality does not expect any new cases.
“We have not had any new cases of infection associated with the outbreak since July 21.
“We think it calmed down, and I believe we can consider the outbreak over,” municipal chief physician in Lillestrøm Heidi Anne Birkeland told the newspaper Romerikes Blad on Monday.
Since Friday, another case of infection has been registered that can be linked to the wedding celebration in Strømmen in early July.
“We had 34 infected guests and 17 close contacts, a total of 51 cases,” Birkeland said.
