No new cases of corona infection related to a wedding party in Strømmen in Lillestrøm have been reported since July 19. The municipal chief physician hopes the outbreak is over.

There are no new cases associated with the wedding that took place at the beginning of July, municipal chief physician, Hedi Anne Birkeland in Lillestrøm, told the newspaper Romerikes Blad.

“It has now been 16 days since the first case was reported. We, therefore, hope that it is over, but we are not sure,” she said.

“We hope that there will be no more cases of infection,” she added.

A total of 35 of the cases were guests at the wedding, while 15 were close contacts of wedding guests.
