The new Norwegian airline FLYR will have its first departure on June 30, and the company is scheduled to start with ticket sales in May.

The news has been reported by the website Flysmart24.no.

The first flight, scheduled for June 30, will go from Oslo to Tromsø. The timetables will be adapted to the government’s reopening plan.

In addition to domestic routes, FLYR will invest in flights abroad. Spanish destinations such as Alicante, Malaga, and Barcelona will be places of focus.

Palma de Mallorca will also be relevant at a later point in time. The company’s price levels are still unknown, but it has previously been suggested that they should be at Norwegian’s level.

FLYR will have its first flight in May and will gradually supplement its flights gradually throughout the summer and autumn. The company currently has 45 employees and plans to have 350 employees by the end of 2021.
