At Sandefjord upper secondary school, 500 pupils and staff have been quarantined after a major corona outbreak.

COVID-19 has been detected in around 20 students, Utdanningsnytt.no writes.

“It may seem as if there is one case of re-infection at school, otherwise many of the young people have been infected during the long weekend and the May 17 celebrations,” principal Harald Møller said.

The school is operating at the “yellow” level, but the principal says that most of the students will now have digital teaching due to the infection situation.

Sandefjord upper secondary school is the country’s largest, with more than 2,000 students.
