What should have been the 103rd parliament dinner at the castle of the Norwegian royal family has been canceled as a result of the coronavirus situation, according to the Royal House.
The dinner for Norwegian parliament (Storting) representatives, the government, and other officials in Norway was scheduled to take place on October 22.
The dinner has been held regularly ever since King Haakon invited the parliamentary representatives to dinner at the castle in 1906.
It has been skipped only a few times in the past.
On Friday morning, King Harald was admitted to the Rikshospitalet.
