The police have fined two people for incitement against Green Party (MDG) politician Lan Marie Berg on social media.

In total, the Oslo police district has investigated three criminal cases of incitement against Berg.

“The two accused have not yet taken a position on the adoption of the fine. One of the cases has been dropped according to the position of the evidence by the public prosecutor,” the Oslo Police District wrote in a press release.

Most of the statements that the police have reviewed in these cases are considered not to be punishable. None of the authors have been or will be contacted by the police.
