Due to relief in the travel restrictions and increased demand, Norwegian decided to reopen its base in Denmark.
A total of 200 employees will be in place during the summer.
“It is incredibly nice to be able to welcome 200 well-known and dear colleagues back to the base in Copenhagen.
“They know the company and our customers very well, and I know that they are looking forward to getting back to work and meeting passengers again,” Norwegian CEO Geir Karlsen said.
On Monday morning, the first Norwegian plane with a Danish cabin crew took off since April of 2020. The flight from Copenhagen to Spanish Malaga was almost sold out.
