Tone W. Trøen (H) spent her last day as President of the Norwegian parliament (Storting) removing the plexiglass that was set up in the Storting hall last spring due to the corona pandemic.

“It feels good, and for me, it is something symbolic to be involved in dismantling the plexiglas on my last day as President of the Storting,” Trøen said.

She joined operations technician Ivar Johansen in taking down the plexiglas on Thursday.

“This (the plexiglas) has marked a large part of the parliamentary term we have behind us, both the issues we have worked on and the physical limitations,” she added.
