Sweden has decided to expel three Russian diplomats. The decision was made after a number of other EU countries did the same.

“They are not working in Sweden in line with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations,” Linde said at a press conference in Stockholm on Tuesday.

The decision was made after a large number of civilians were found killed in the city of Butsja just outside Kyiv a few days after Russian soldiers withdrew from the area.

Earlier on Tuesday, Denmark announced that it was expelling 15 Russian diplomats accused of being intelligence officers.

On Monday night, Linde said that the Swedish authorities were considering expelling Russian diplomats but that the country also wanted to keep the Swedish embassy in Moscow.
