-” We are sending SMS to Norwegians in countries that are in danger of becoming red. We make them aware that the situation is about to change and that it is important to follow and assess their situations.”, says Technical Director, Karin Straume, of the Norwegian Directorate of Health to Dagbladet.

On Friday, the government will decide if they are to follow the recommendations of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health  to carry out quarantine upon arrival from France, Switzerland, and Czech Republic.

France now has an infection rate of 21.7 per 100,000 people, the Czech Republic with 27.3 per 100,000, and Switzerland with 22.9 per 100,000.
