The sister who was badly injured by the lightning strike in Hareid discharged from the hospital: “Stable”

The girl who was seriously injured as a result of a lightning strike in Hareid on Sunday has now been discharged from the hospital. Her two sisters died in the incident.

“I can confirm that her condition is stable, and she has now been discharged from Haukeland University Hospital,” sheriff Hilde Aglen in Ulstein and Hareid sheriff’s office told TV 2.

Her sisters Benedicte and Victoria Myrset, aged 18 and 12, from Oslo, died after a lightning strike on Melshornet in Hareid on Sunday afternoon. Their names have been released in consultation with their relatives.

According to Mayor Bernt Brandal in Hareid Municipality, the sisters were on holiday there.

The third sister reported the incident. She was badly injured.
