The Trøndelag police have charged eleven people after two cannabis plantations were discovered in Haltdalen and Melhus.

The police state that a lot of production equipment has been seized, showing that those involved knew what they were doing, head of investigation Per Christian Stokke at the Heimdal police station told the newspaper Adresseavisen.

He says that plants have been seized, that the cannabis has been produced in homes, and that the amount of cannabis that has been seized indicates that the intention was to sell cannabis.

Eleven people are charged in the case. Five of them are still at large and are wanted, while six are in custody. According to the newspaper Trønderbladet, the accused are from Eastern Europe.
