During the weekend, 131 people were diagnosed with coronavirus in Trondheim Municipality.
Of the infected, 36 are aged 10–20, while 40 are in their 20s, Trondheim Municipality stated in a press release.
Despite an increase in infection among school students, no schools in Trondheim are operating at the “yellow” level.
A total of 1,951 people were tested for corona with PCR tests in the Municipality during the weekend.
Of Trondheim’s population, 57.3% have been fully vaccinated, while 74.9% have received the first dose.
According to Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK), eleven people are hospitalized with the coronavirus at St. Olav’s hospital.
