Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov says the security situation is stable and that the latest threat assessment does not contain anything unexpected.
Reznikov’s statement was broadcast on Ukrainian television on Wednesday morning, according to the news agency Reuters.
He also noted that Ukraine’s armed forces continue a nationwide military exercise and that Belarus’s military attaché will be present.
Belarus and Russia have recently conducted a major military exercise on Ukraine’s borders.
Belarus has assured Ukraine that there is no military threat to Ukraine from Belarus.
Reznikov also said he would attend a virtual meeting with NATO defense ministers on Thursday.
