  • On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, a total of 1,423 people had been diagnosed with the coronavirus .
  • New cases of infection in the last 24 hours are 116.
  • A total of 28,522 people have been tested. About 5 percent of the tests are positive.
  • 549 have been infected in Norway and 800 abroad. For 74 persons, the site of infection is being researched.
  • 85 patients have been admitted to hospitals with proven covid-19, according to VG.
  • 6 people have died.

  1. Meanwhile, Nattavisen has just accused some hospitals of not releasing information/statistics like this/these.

    In any case, this apparently potentially very deadly epidemic is just starting to take off in Norway.

    Note the healthcare worker wearing a professional mask/hood. Those should be reserved *for* healthcare staff, but even everyone wearing generic or homemade masks could do much to curb the epidemic as was seen in China (which is now offering massive mask supplies to the West).

    I ask readers to consider my case for everyone wearing some kind of facemasks in my comment underneath the article about King Harald urging us all to think and take care of each other.
