Facebook has lost 208,000 daily Norwegian users between the ages of 15 and 29 in the last two years, Kantar estimates.
In two years, the number of daily users in the aforementioned age group has fallen from 83% to 64%, Kampanje notes.
Kantar Media’s marketing director Ingvar Sandvik estimates that 908,000 Norwegians between the ages of 15 and 29 used Facebook daily in the last quarter.
“We already looked at some underlying indicators in the years 2015 and 2016 that gave signals that the use and importance of Facebook were changing for this age group,” Sandvik said.
According to figures from Ipsos from the previous quarter, over 3.5 million Norwegians have a Facebook profile, and 67% of them use it daily.
