Norway has the 3rd lowest risk of burnout in Europe, news study shows

The general business information website Small Business Prices analyzed 28 European countries to discover which has the employees most and least at risk of burnout, considering different factors that might contribute to employees’ wellness, such as work-life balance, weekly working hours, and happiness level.

With so many people experiencing work-related stress at some point in their lives, burnout is a concern amongst workers worldwide, especially after the COVID-19 outbreak. 

But which countries are less inclined to make their workers feel tired and mentally exhausted?

According to the study, the top 15 European countries where employees are least at risk of burnout are:

  1. Denmark
  2. Netherlands
  3. Norway
  4. Germany
  5. Switzerland
  6. Ireland
  7. Belgium
  8. Finland
  9. Italy
  10. Sweden
  11. Luxembourg
  12. Austria
  13. UK

While Denmark ranked as the number one location least at risk of burnout with some of the happiest citizens and shortest work weeks, Norway ranked third – between the Netherlands (2nd) and Germany (4th).
