This autumn, Prince Sverre Magnus will start going to Elvebakken upper secondary school in Oslo.

The prince has opted for the school’s Information Technology and Media Production (IM) line, the Royal House stated in a press release.

The education provides both opportunities for apprenticeships and trade certificates as well as study competence.

The prince finished secondary school this spring. From 2014 to 2020, the prince attended Oslo Montessori School, and from 2011 to 2014, he attended Jansløkka School in Asker.

Elvebakken is one of Oslo’s most popular upper secondary schools, and last autumn, the prince’s sister, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, started first grade at the school.

Prince Sverre Magnus is third in the line of succession to the Norwegian throne, after Princess Ingrid Alexandra.
