The jack-up rig Rowan Gorilla VI is to conclude its contract in the North Sea a year early, according Offshore.no. It is unclear how many employees are affected by this.
The company that rents the rig, ConocoPhillips has chosen to terminate the rig’s operation a year early, wrote nettstedet. The rig had an original contract to March 2018, with the expectation of earning 1.3 billion NOK.
