Time for a tire change
If you drive with studded tires and live in Southern Norway, you should change your tires this Easter – if snow conditions permit. People in northern Norway can wait roughly one more month.
In southern and central Norway studded tires or chains will be prohibited from the first Monday after Easter Monday until 31. October.
In Nordland, Troms and Finnmark, the ban applies from 1 May to 15 October.
Many people choose to replace the tires themselves, while others prefer to get help. The latter is the safer option for your back, if you are not careful.
Place the car on a level surface, preferably not on loose gravel. Then you need to put on the handbrake and put the jack in the right place, NAF recommends.
