13 carneval workers arrested in Tønsberg
On Saturday police arrested 13 Ukrainians who are working with a traveling Tivoli/carneval in Tønsberg who did not have valid working permits.
All those arrested have been transported to the immigration detention center in Trandum, pending a decision by the UDI on deportation from Norway, Southeast Police District said.
The Tivoli is part of the Messa Festival in Tønsberg.
It was the police’s labor force unit behind the action. The police inform NTB that the arrests went quietly.
