The Labor Party (AP) wants to increase the allocations for fast chargers and the green shift by NOK 300 million.

The money would be aimed at the Climate and Energy Fund and would strengthen Enova’s activity related to the green shift and the setup of fast chargers.

“We want to make it easier to choose climate-friendly transport solutions and facilitate increased use of electric cars in all parts of the country,” Minister of Climate and Environment Espen Barth Eide (AP) noted in a statement.

The government wants the development of charging infrastructure to be market-driven.

Still, in some situations, there will be a need for public support, according to the Ministry of Climate and the Environment.
