Avinor sets aside half a billion for future environmental cleanup
Avinor’s revenues ended at NOK 11.8 billion in 2019, with a profit after tax of NOK 665 million.
Operating revenues are on a par with 2018, while earnings have been halved due to accounting provisions related to future environmental cleanup at Avinor’s fire drill field, the quarterly report states.
In 2018, the profit after tax was NOK 1,169 million, compared with NOK 665 million last year. Operating revenues in 2019 amounted to NOK 11,785 million, compared with NOK 11,724 million in 2018.
Throughout the year, average regularity and punctuality were at 98 percent and 84 percent respectively.
