Negotiations between the unions and the Norwegian Oil Industry Association is postponed due to the helicopter accident at Turøy.

Negotiations were supposed to start Monday, NRK news reported.
– It would have been wrong to begin work this week, says chief negotiator January Hodneland in Norwegian Oil Industry Association.
Together with the unions, the employer organization decided that they want to postpone negotiations. It is not yet certain when negotiations will start.
– Several member companies of the Norwegian Oil Industry Association have been affected, and we must think of relatives and colleagues who are affected by this tragedy. It’s a difficult time, says Hodne Land.
