Bitcoin price sets new record after Tesla invests 1,5 billion dolars in the cryptocurrency
Bitcoin set a new price record of over USD 43,000 after the electric car manufacturer Tesla invested USD 1.5 billion dollars in the cryptocurrency.
The price of Bitcoin rose to USD 43,725 on Monday morning. That corresponds to around NOK 372,500 at today’s exchange rate.
In January, the value of the cryptocurrency plunged 20% after a very sharp rise in previous weeks.
The cryptocurrency’s price has thus risen around 50% since the beginning of the year.
