Telenor is removing the extra cost of using mobile phones when traveling in Europe. Before 15 June next year, all the other Norwegian mobile providers will do the same.

With the removal of roaming fees from Tuesday, Telenor is the first Norwegian company to remove the price difference of mobile and data usage across the EU and EEA countries. Telenor offers free transition to subscriptions that eliminates roaming costs.
Mobile users have experienced getting costly surprises after touring Europe when they return home.
Last Friday, the government voted to include EU rules on net neutrality and international roaming in the EEA Agreement. This regulation stipulates that mobile customers will retain their national rates for calls and data usage when they are traveling in the EU.
