Iselin Nybø (V) says that the government is proposing a NOK 480 million scheme for the companies affected by the entry quarantine.

Minister of Trade and Industry Iselin Nybø informed newspaper VG that the companies that are now affected by foreign labor being placed in entry quarantine would receive NOK 800 to 1,000 per day per employee to compensate for some of the expenses that the corona measure entails.

The state has already allocated significant funds for quarantine hotels.

On Monday, Minister of Justice Monica Mæland (H) said that the deductible for quarantine hotels for employers is NOK 1,500 a day.

“These are measures that are absolutely necessary for us to have control over the corona infection. Now we are putting in the money to ease the costs a bit,” Nybø told the newspaper.
