Companies that have had a significant fall in revenue in August can now apply for grants from the business sector compensation scheme. August is the last month of application.

The business sector compensation scheme’s online portal was opened five months ago and so far the scheme has processed grant applications for the months of March, April, May, June and July.

The portal has now been opened for applications in August, and this is the last month to apply.

“The application form and further information can be found at kompensasjonsordning.no“, said Deputy Tax Director Eve Vangsnes Bergli in a press release.

The deadline for applications for June, July and August is 31 October, while the deadline for March, April and May was 31 July.

Approximately 68,000 grant applications have been awarded since the compensation scheme opened in April, and the Norwegian Tax Administration has so far paid out some NOK 5.6 billion in grants.
