While Equinor, VG and Vy come out worse than last year, Coop, Tine and NRK lead the Ipsos’ analysis annual reputation survey.

82% of the survey participants have a good or very good overall impression of the Coop supermarket chain, according to NRK.

In second place comes Tine, followed by NRK, Vinmonopolet and Felleskjøpet, which for the first time is included in the survey among Norway’s 100 largest companies.

The former Det Norske Veritas, DNV GL, is the company that has had the biggest reputation improvement along with Schibsted and Egmont, while VY, Equinor and VG are among the companies that have deteriorated their reputation over the past year.

VG fell from 38th place to 53rd place, but the editor in charge and CEO Gard Steiro is not worried about it.

VG has never particularly high scores on measurements like this one, but I find that our readership numbers have increased throughout 2019. Our own measurements shows that our reputation is now roughly the same as when the year started – says Steiro to NRK.
