Dagbladet and CNN start cooperation

Dagbladet and CNN will cooperate on content sharing.

CNN International Commercial and Dagbladet have signed an agreement giving Dagbladet access to CNN’s content for use on all of Dagbladet, meaning the web, mobile, Web TV and in the printed edition, writes Campaign.

Dagbladet will also deliver content to CNN during major news events. The agreement applies to the Norwegian market and will become effective immediately.

– Web TV is an increasingly important part of our news work, and we are proud to be collaborating with the world’s most famous news channel, said chief editor John Arne Markussen.

He believes the cooperation will give Dagbladet better foreign coverage.

– A content partnership with CNN will mean that our readers get a wider coverage of the foreign content on web TV, more analysis and better attendance at major events and major events. In particular, it will apply to the US which is now facing a very exciting and different presidential election, said chief editor.
