Total sales of petroleum products in November were down 6 percent from the same period in 2018, figures from Statistics Norway show.
654 million liters of petroleum products were sold during November 2019, according to Statistics Norway.
76 million liters of petrol were sold, a decrease of 3 million liters from November 2018. The sale of auto diesel went down by 15 million liters and ended at 242 million liters.
Preliminary figures so far this year show that total gasoline and auto diesel sales have decreased by about 153 million liters compared to the corresponding period last year. This is a decrease of 4 percent in sales.
Auto diesel sales are by far the largest item in the statistics on sales of petroleum products, with more than twice as much sales as the second largest item, marine gas oils.
