The seasonally adjusted figures from NAV show that unemployment in Norway decreased by 500 people in July this year.

The sum of unemployed, both those who  take part in iniatives and measures meant to give them more working experience and back to work and those who don’t take part in such measures and initiatives, decreased by 200 persons in the same month, according to Nav.

The largest decrease in unemployment this month, has been in Oslo and Sogn og Fjordane , while the largest increases have been in Aust-Agder and Finnmark .

Figures which are not seasonally adjusted  show that 87,700  unemployed were registered at the end of July, which is  2,400 more than the same time last year.
Unemployment in July this year is at 3.2 per cent, compared to 3.1 per cent in July 2015.
