Several Norwegian companies fear the consequence of the coronavirus and the fall in oil prices. The big bank DNB promises to help viable companies through the crisis.
– “DNB has every third Norwegian business as a customer. Now, several companies around the country are experiencing cancellations, canceled orders and missing deliveries from subcontractors. Companies that are otherwise profitable can also face short-term challenges,” says Harald Serck-Hanssen, Executive Vice President for DNB’s corporate customers.
Companies in the hotel and travel industry in particular are vulnerable. Several hotels and accommodations have announced layoffs, and airlines are canceling a large number of flights.
Measures for companies may be short-term or long-term credit repayment periods for a period or overdraft facilities.
