The classification company, DNV GL, has been named Norway’s most attractive employer in an independent survey.
‘Kongsberg Defence’ and ‘Aerospace’ shared second place, while NRK came third according to the survey, Randstad Employer Brand Research.
‘’As an employer, DNV GL have stood out with a very good reputation, well ahead of its competitors in the survey. They are truly perceived as a dream employer by many, because they offer interesting work tasks, good career opportunities, and a very good working environment’’ said CEO, Eivind Bøe of HR and recruitment company, Randstad Norway.
Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace were praised for their use of new technology, healthy finances and interesting work tasks within the technological field. NRK was said to be an employer who has a good reputation, and who offers good career opportunities.
The survey showed that established companies with a long history scored the highest, which Bøe believes confirms that it takes time to build up a brand as an employer.
The survey has been carried out internationally for almost 20 years, but this year is the first time it has been implemented in Norway.
DNV GL, formerly Veritas, has its business in the classification of ships, certification, testing and consulting.
