The Coronavirus causes Elkjøp to expand the click-and-pickup scheme. They also test their own opening hours for elderly and vulnerable groups in some selected stores.

– “If it helps our customers, we will introduce this in other stores as well,” says CEO Fredrik Tønnesen of Elkjøp Norway.

Elkjøp has had a click-and-pickup scheme, for a long time, where customers can order goods online and pick them up in-store.

Now, this scheme is being extended, so that customers get the goods delivered in the parking lot. You get the choice of having it delivered right to your trunk or through the pickup window.
