There is more and more to do at Equinor’s renewable energy department. The company needs more engineers, technicians and business developers.

Now the company is rolling out a campaign to attract more people, but that’s not who they want.

“The main goal is to find diamonds in the rough that will work with renewable energy and that will help us grow in the future. We are looking for expertise in new energy solutions that can complement the expertise we already have in the company. If we do not find the right candidates, we will not hire them,” says HR leader in new energy solutions, Dana Bernstein, to NTB.

Large Contracts
Last week Equinor was commissioned to build the world’s largest offshore wind farm, Dogger Bank, which will supply 4.5 million households in the UK with electricity. Earlier this summer, the company won a major contract to develop the Empire Wind farm outside New York.
