Significantly more homes were sold and put on the market in April than Eiendom Norge reported on May 5.

In April, the last workday was omitted due to a technical error, so the transaction volume and number of homes put on the market were underreported, Eiendom Norge wrote in a press release.

“For the price development, this error is less significant, and the trend in the market is the same as was reported,” they wrote.

The error is most significant for Trondheim and Tromsø, which had a stronger price development than reported.

Eiendom Norge reported unchanged prices nominally in Trondheim in April. In reality, prices there rose by 0.5%.

In Tromsø, Eiendom Norge reported a decrease of 0.2%. In reality, prices rose by 0.1%.

Nationally, the nominal price increase was 0.3% instead of 0.2%. Seasonally adjusted prices are unchanged, instead of a decrease of 0.1%.
