Export price for fresh Norwegian salmon increased by 9.3% last week
The export price for fresh salmon was NOK 71.08 per kg in week 19, up 9.3% from the week before.
Furthermore, 5.1% more fresh salmon was exported, a total of 14,863 tonnes.
The price increase is 30% from the same week in 2020, according to Statistics Norway (SSB).
Last week, 479 tonnes of frozen salmon were exported at a price of NOK 54.85 per kg. The quantity sold increased by 79.4% from week 18, while the price increased by 2.9%.
