So far the Panama disclosures has lead to no ØKOKRIM charges

A dozen people reported information about their own accounts to ØKOKRIM after the revelations about Norwegians companies in tax havens. Currently, none of these have been charged with tax evasion, according to the newspaper Dagens Næringsliv.

After documents from the law firm Mossack Fonseca was leaked last spring,  ØKOKRIM created their own phone line for those who wanted to report about hidden account abroad.
– We have received some dozen inquiries. I will not divulge whether we are investigating any cases  – for the sake of the investigation, chief public prosecutor and head of the Norwegian authorities, Petter Nordeng, said.
So far the Tax Administration has not made a decision to levy additional taxes . But there’s been some additional self-reporting of funds abroad, which the tax director does not exclude  may be triggered by revelations.
