Only 27 percent of DNB customers with low mortgage rates received the entire interest rate cut of 0.85 percentage points in March, according to a new survey. That is what the DNB boss is saying.
The figures show that it was first and foremost the customers with the highest interest rate that received the entire interest rate cut. Of those who before the interest rate cut had an interest rate of 2.95 percent or lower, less than 8 percent received the entire interest rate cut, writes Dagens Næringsliv.
The figures come from the 700 DNB customers who have logged into the Renteradar comparison service in the last few weeks.
“We do not recognize these figures,” DNB chief Kjerstin Braathen told the newspaper.
– Most of our customers have received interest rate reductions, but there are individual differences, as it was when interest rates were on the rise. We have individual prices, she emphasizes.
Since there are only 700 members, it is natural to assume that more than one in three DNB customers have received a total interest rate cut, DN writes.
