Unemployment fell slightly in September. During the month, 400 fewer unemployed persons were registered, and unemployment now stands at 2.2 percent, according to Nav.

The share is still unchanged from last month, when it was also 2.2 percent.

“So far this year, the number of unemployed has dropped by 3,800. It is in Hordaland and in engineering and ICT that unemployment has fallen most,” says Nav Director Sigrun Vågeng in a press release.

The registered proportion of unemployed persons fell in September, while gross unemployment, which also includes those who also include job seekers participating in labor market measures, fell by 600, according to figures from Nav.
